4 styles of shower tray and, your choice of colour
We offer a choice of 4 styles of shower tray from Matki and Drench. Within certain parameters, each can be manufactured to suit your size and shape requirements, including cut outs. Matki Slate shower trays can also be specified in any RAL or pantone colour. Drench Base slate shower trays are available in 4 colours with a colour matched (4 colours) painted or stainless-steel waste grate in a choice of 6 brushed finishes. Matki Preference bespoke shower trays
Made from high quality Matki Solid Surface composite rich in minerals and ground marble. Preference Shower Trays are low profile, with a minimalist colour matched solid surface waste cover while small edge upstands and a high flow waste ensure good drainage for even the most powerful of showers. Trays are available in bespoke shapes and sizes.
- Trays measure 35mm in height (including edge upstands)
- Semi-matt Matki Solid Surface composite construction; durable, slip resistant and repairable
- Trays are certified to DIN51097-B as “Anti Slip” and have a PTV 36+ “Low Slip Potential” rating.
- Available in white only
- Solid or slatted solid surface composite waste cover options
- Waste can be relocated off centre to accommodate floor joists if required
- Trays can be made in sizes from 800x800mm to 2050x1150mm
- Available in square, rectangular, pentange, and curved quadrant (550mm radius) shapes and
- Cut outs to corner or sides can also be accommodated
- Trays are covered by a comprehensive 2 year warranty for parts and labour, with a further 8 years on parts (covering domestic usage)
Matki Preference bespoke shower floors
Made from the same high quality Matki Solid Surface stone composite as the Preference Shower Tray, Preference Shower Floor is designed to be a stylish alternative to a tiled wet room floor (Shower Floors are intended to be flush mounted within a tiled floor only). Shower Floors can be produced in bespoke shapes and sizes, cutouts to sides and corners can be added, and the waste position can be adjusted.
- Shower Floors measure between 20-25mm in thickness depending on the overall dimensions
- Suitable for recessed mounting flush with the tiled floor only
- Made from Matki Solid Surface composite with semi-matt finish; durable, slip resistant and repairable
- Shower Floors are certified to DIN51097-B as “Anti Slip” and have a PTV 36+ “Low Slip Potential” rating.
- Available in white only (waste is colour matched white composite)
- Solid or slatted waste cover options
- Waste position can be repositioned centrally only depending on the tray size

Matki Slate bespoke shower floors
Luxury slate shower floors have a realistic textured finish, matched central waste and can be produced in any RAL or pantone colour. Slate shower floors are designed to be mounted flush to the floor only as a stylish alternative to a wet room.

- Once your shower tray measurements and options have been confirmed your tray will be put into production.
- Bespoke shower trays take approximately 4 weeks to produced. Once your new shower tray is ready you will be notified, and delivery or collection will be arranged.
The terms made to measure, and bespoke shower trays describe shower trays that are based on a standard design but manufactured to a non-standard size, shape or colour. These products may also be referred to as custom made or tailor-made shower trays.
A bespoke shower tray is often required when a standard sized “off-the-peg” shower tray will not fit the size or shape of the available space.
If a made to measure shower tray is required you may also need a special size or shape shower enclosure, door or screen. We can supply made to measure shower enclosures and we manufacture our own luxury frameless shower enclosures. We can even measure and install your shower for you, contact us for details.
While it is entirely possible to make changes to your tray once it is in production, made to measure shower trays are bespoke products and are non-refundable. If you cancel or make changes to your order once in production additional charges will apply.

Yes, we offer bespoke shower trays with upstands to aid drainage, extra low-profile shower floors and slate effect shower floors. Shower floors are extra low-profile shower trays with a flat surface for flush or surface mounting and are designed as an alternative to a wet room.
Bespoke shower trays can be manufactured in as little as 4 weeks although special colours or shape requirements may take a little longer.
Bespoke shower trays can be manufactured to fit most spaces but there will always be odd occasions when something may not be possible. Large and small sizes, cut outs, curves and angles can all be accommodated, although it should be noted that certain styles of shower tray are more suitable to some shapes and spaces. We will advise which products will suit your space and requirements.
The smallest size bespoke shower tray we supply is 600x600mm, this is about the smallest space a person can fit into and take a shower. At the other extreme, we can supply large shower trays up to 2050x1050mm although the maximum size varies slightly depending on the style of shower tray chosen.
Preference made to measure shower trays and floors are available in white only, but Slate bespoke shower trays can be specified in any RAL or pantone colour. A colour matching service is also available.
Preference shower trays contain ground marble and have a fine textured matt surface finish, while Drench and Matki Slate shower floors and trays have a riven stone texture with a matt finish. Both provide a good deal of slip resistance.
Matki Preference shower trays are 35mm thick, Preference shower floors are 20mm thick and Slate bespoke shower floors are 38mm in thickness. Drench Base shower trays are 30mm in thickness.
Yes, Matki Preference shower floor and Slate shower trays, and Drench Base shower trays, can be recessed into the tile floor to give a flush surface and may be used as a stylish alternative to costly tanked wet room floors.
Yes, Preference shower trays feature a 10mm upstand around the perimeter of the tray. An upstand will aid drainage if a high-volume pumped shower is used.
Matki Preference bespoke shower trays and floors are only available in matt white and come with a centrally located matched white waste cap and included high flow waste. Matki Slate bespoke shower floors and Drench Base shower trays, are available with a colour matched waste cover or stainless waste grate, in painted and anodised finishes, depending on the tray version.
It is possible to make small adjustment to the waste position to avoid features such as joists. We will be able to advise on waste position when we have your requirements.
Bespoke shower trays and floors are supplied as standard with a high flow waste. For more powerful shower systems an optional ultra-high flow waste, rated at 52 litres per minute, can be specified for an additional charge of £19.20 including vat.
Yes, we offer a chargeable shower tray measuring service covering Greater London, Surrey, Kent, Berkshire, Hampshire and Dorset. Measurement survey fees are payable in full prior to the survey and are non-refundable. Please contact us for details
Please note, in most instances we do not require the tiling to have been completed, the shower area and surrounding walls must be complete, and ready for tiling, for accurate measurements to be taken.
