Sandford Family Bathroom Makeover

Our customer in Sandford was so delighted with the ensuite bathroom we created for them, they asked us to come back to transform their family bathroom.

This was a full bathroom refurbishment for a customer in Stoborough Dorset that included the removal of the bath to create a large new luxury walk-in shower.

More bathroom storage & a big shower please!

A dated design and lack of storage space were just two issues that our client wanted us to address in their bathroom. What they really wanted was a much larger shower, and we were able to achieve that by removing the bath and installing a low profile 1700x800mm Drench Base shower tray with Bathrooms to Love 1000mm fixed walkin shower screen and R2 Awake thermostatic shower. The Drench Base shower tray is a fantastic product. The large range includes sizes specifically for replacing bathtubs, while the solid composite construction is very strong and can be trimmed to fit nonstandard spaces.

Coffee and Carrara marble

After stripping out the old bathroom, the team replastered the entire room. Our tilers then fully tiled the shower with large 700x350mm matt white Carrara marble effect tiles, tiling the remaining bathroom walls to half height with the same tiles. Creating a nice contrast, the floor was tiled in Influence Pattern C 2000x200mm tiles with a lovely mocha tone. A similar colour was used for the upper walls, tying the scheme together and giving a lovely warm feel to the room.

Stylish bathroom storage solutions

To complete the bathroom installation, we replaced the old pedestal basin with a sleek modern wall hung Veldeau Vernoa vanity, featuring twin drawers and integrated sink, in gloss white. The basin unit was paired with a matching tall unit to provide much-needed additional storage. A smart new R2 Serenity close coupled toilet, white Staverton 1200x400mm towel radiator, and round R2 Covert 600mm illuminated mirror with built in demister completed the new bathroom. The project took 2 weeks from start to finish, and our clients are delighted with the transformation.
